did the infant eat a little bit of polish from your fingernail that was painted or from the jar of fingernail polish. If it was just off your nail and a small amount i would just call your doctor in the AM to be safe. Always call Poison Control if you have even a bit of concern. DO NOT make the child throw up or worry about stomach pumping. In fact, there is not enough nail polish in a bottle to poison a child and the biggest concern is the alcohol content. This is straight from TX Poison Control.

It depends a small amount (like a chipping off your nail) dont worry about it. Alot (he drank the bottle) call poison control. Its better not to call poison control unless you need to, they will more than likely pump your childs stomache which would be horrible to watch and painful for the infant. But, if you are really worried about it call and tell them exactly how much the child ate so they wont have to take such drastic measures. good luck.
