I have nail polish on my leather recliner and my blanket? help me remove it w/o damage?

Nail polish remover is likely to remove the finish on the leather and may not even remove the nail polish so this should be avoided as repairs will be more expensive. Please do not use hairspray as this may make the damage worse.

DIY remedies generally cause many more problems and make final restoration more costly and more difficult.

Nail polish is a form of paint and you have repainted the leather so anything you use will be likely to remove the colour/finish from the leather.

This job is best left to a qualified leather technician who will have the best products and methods for rectifying the problem. Look for an LTT trained technician who wil be qualified to do this type of work.
