Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?

Well, I had a friend that loves to sniff nail polish which I think is so disgusting and smelly, but I saw him got addicted to it, is it something that makes you real high ? Like ... glue sniffing ? (:Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?
Glue, paint, nail polish, all of these are covered under the catagory of ';inhalant abuse.'; It can give you a high, but is, contrary to popular belief, dangerous.

From National Institute for Drug Abuse:

';Inhaled chemicals are rapidly absorbed through the lungs into the bloodstream and quickly distributed to the brain and other organs. Within seconds of inhalation, the user experiences intoxication along with other effects similar to those produced by alcohol. Alcohol-like effects may include slurred speech, an inability to coordinate movements, euphoria, and dizziness. In addition, users may experience lightheadedness, hallucinations, and delusions.';

';Although the chemical substances found in inhalants may produce various pharmacological effects, most inhalants produce a rapid high that resembles alcohol intoxication with initial excitation, then drowsiness, disinhibition, lightheadedness, and agitation. If sufficient amounts are inhaled, nearly all solvents and gases produce anesthesia, a loss of sensation, and even unconsciousness.';Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?
People can get addicted in the true sense of the word to anything.

If it gets him off, it's a drug addiction.

Edit: I agree with you about it being disgusting.

Does he wear the nail polish too (JK)?
