What would happen if they had polish remover in Warsaw nail salons?

I dunno, Man.

I'm still trying to figure out why there is an unhappy German in every deli

Why Viennese are such weiners, and

Why people from Lehmburg are so stinky. What would happen if they had polish remover in Warsaw nail salons?
All the Poles would eliminate it, or Migrate.

Good luck.

Is it okay to use nail polish thats like 3-4 yrs old?

yes just make sure you make them wait till they are dry before you let them run off and play.Is it okay to use nail polish thats like 3-4 yrs old?
It's definately safe to use, but it might not last as long and it will probably chip faster. If you like it then use it but you might want to put a clear coat on top of it to prevent chipping! Is it okay to use nail polish thats like 3-4 yrs old?
It'll be safe to use, but it won't be good quality (chipping, uneven coats, ect). I use mine for a year, tops, and then I throw it out.
well it doesnt do anything bad besides its probably really thick, and clumpy but it doesnt mess up your nail in any health way
No because its probably all nasty and dried out, LOL! Plus when you try to put it on it will be all clumpy, LOL!
yeah, it might not go on right though.

just make sure it's all the way dry. sometimes it takes a while to dry too.
yes, but only if it hasnt seperated, or is gooey. It also may take longer to dry. hope i helped:)
yah i do it all th time i have some thats 7 yrs old that i still use
i use nail polish that is 7 years old. it will not hurt you.
if it gets time to dry %26amp; make sure their're not suckin on their finger
yeah but it might be clumped together and wont last long
as long as it isn't dried out :P
as long as you don't eat it i'm pretty sure your good.
No it will make ur nails grow tenticules! :0 What type of question is tht lol? duh u can use itt

yea, very weird, but my brother is deathly deathly afraid of nail polish. He screams and runs away, cry and go extremely crazy when i get my nails done. It usually be dark or bright colors, not french manicures. He said he dont like to see it especailly on family. He says something about being embarrased, yea sounds very crazy (9yrs old) but im trying to listen to all the things he tells me so that i can help his weird but!!! Thanks for all the help and answers!!!Is there a fear of nail polish??
well he's only 9 years old. he'll get over it.

you have to ask him what it is that frightens him about it....did he have a bad experience with nail polish before? did he watch something on tv that made him fear nail polish....

    Maybelinne ones aren't that expensive..

O.P.I is expensive but soo good.

Why shouldn't I sniff nail polish?

My mother used to yell at me when I sniffed the nail polish, and I've never known exactly why I shouldn't. It was the same with sharpie markers. Can anybody tell me why it's bad?Why shouldn't I sniff nail polish?
    lol

i love the smell of sharpie markers!

i heard that stuff can damage ur brain

i dont know if its true thoughWhy shouldn't I sniff nail polish?
Because it's getting ';high'; and not something that is going to do you anything but harm. Good luck!

Does chanel still sell this nail polish? And what store can I get it from?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/Em鈥?/a>Does chanel still sell this nail polish? And what store can I get it from?
It's not current on their website. You might still be able to find it in the stores. If not, you could try ebay.

Edit: Essie and OPI can be found at most beauty supply stores. You won't find them in the department stores. Both are very good quality. I personally don't have any Chanel nail polish, so I can't speak from experience about the clumping. Metallic polishes in general tend to thicken up easier than others. Good luck!

Edit: OPI has a color called 'Happy Anniversary' that is a silver color, you could try that. And Essie has a color called 'Silver Bullions'. Hope this helps!Does chanel still sell this nail polish? And what store can I get it from?
Don't even waste your money on Chanel nail polish. I swear, every bottle I have bought has done nothing but clump up and get crappy on me within 2 months of having it. Buy Essie or OPI.
OMG! lol I'm wearing the same exact nail polish! I have it! It's awesome, I bought mine at Macy*s. =D

What happens if you eat nail polish?

If your just biting your nails, probably nothing drastic because nail polish I'm sure was made with the fact that many people bite their nails. But still I wouldn't even bite them.

if your DRINKING it, on the other hand.. well just don't. the last time I checked there was no such thing as edible nail polish. You could probably get really sick.

Allergic to the smell of nail polish remover? is it possible?

sorry its in the wrong category... just nobody answered my other question when it was in the right one..Allergic to the smell of nail polish remover? is it possible?
yes..you certainly can be allergic to the smell of acetone.

    i am.

i can't breathe around that smell..it literally takes my breath away.

nail polish %26amp; hair dye are considered the two most toxic items that women use .Allergic to the smell of nail polish remover? is it possible?
i feel ya. it is possible for you to be allergic to that. my grandma was......
yes it is possible. i hate the smell but i'm not allergic to it. the smell of thinner and gasoline makes me puke.
yes it's possible to be allergic to the acetone in it.
Yes it is possible as it really takes my breath away. I don't know why

it wouldn't be answered. Besides you are now in the best category!!

P%26amp;Sers are the best for the most part.
Yes, it could also be just one of the components in it too. I can't handle it either, it makes me feel nauseous.

EASY Question: Purple or Black nail polish?

This isn't a real problem, but I just wanted to know others had to say :)

I am going to wear a purple dress with black laces this Saturday. Overall, my dress is dark purple, but it is covered in black laces with some sparkles and a black ribbon in the middle.

Should I paint my nails with black nail polish or purple nail polish? Any other suggestions?EASY Question: Purple or Black nail polish?
Purple has more of a metallicy sheen to it, and it has more sparkle to it, if thats what your looking for. If you want a more plain yet fashionable look, go with black. :)EASY Question: Purple or Black nail polish?
both. make it look cool. how i do my nails is paint them blue. and them get my neon pink and paint random letters on it. it looks totalli cool. you can put words on nails too. idk, that's just my idea. it's not really that hard either.
I would say a purple close to the colour of your dress.

Maybe, if you can get it done by a pro, get a black streak. You can also do this yourself, but if you mess up you're screwed (Been there, done that!)
I will definitely say that black polish will make a contrast with your purple dress and it will match with the black laces. besides black looks good with everything.
black, since the dress is dark purple it's most if your outfit. you want to bring out the black, i pretty much just prefer black but im sure it will look better than purple =]
black for sure it will look great with the black accents the purple will be to much purple black will also give you more of an edgy look. hope that helped
black for sure because u might not be able to match the purple exactly to your dress and then it would look tacky plus it would be too matchy matchy with a purple dress and purple nails so paint them black
Black because you only have a black ribbon and everyone loves black on the nails it really give that sinister look
    purple! %26lt;3

but if u DO decide to go w/ black, make sure ur nails r pretty short! ir looks rly weird if u have long, black nails. %26gt;:p
    black with purple diaginal stripes!
Oh my gosh, I have just the thing. Paint them purple with thick black tips.
black because it brings out the black in the dress.

    (:
    Black with purple tips
black since how the main color is purple
    black. purple would look tacky.
    black nail polish.
    dark purple :-)
    BOTH! :]
    black would go better.
RED. It will pop! And you won't look so matchy matchy.

    Seche Vite

    Dry Fast Top Coat

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is acknowledged as the world's finest top coat. Its patented formula allows it to penetrate through the nail lacquer to the base coat forming a single solid coating over the nail plate for a much more durable finish which is guaranteed not to yellow. Seche Vite is unmatched as a top coat leaving the nail silky feeling, stronger, more durable, absolutely will not chip and creates the highest gloss of any product on the market today. Apply thickly, get a nice bead on the end of the brush, then set softly down on the first nail painted and watch how Seche Vite flows over the wet nail polish self levels and will not drag or streak the underlying manicure.

    Toushka
Ive always wanted to try sally hansen diamond shine..but cant find it in my country. The one i use is made by an american nail company called ';creative'; you can get there products in most countries the one i use is called ';super shiny';. I think you would have to go to a manicurist place that stocks it and its a bit more expensive than store brought polish...but i love the shine.

Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?

Well, I had a friend that loves to sniff nail polish which I think is so disgusting and smelly, but I saw him got addicted to it, is it something that makes you real high ? Like ... glue sniffing ? (:Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?
Glue, paint, nail polish, all of these are covered under the catagory of ';inhalant abuse.'; It can give you a high, but is, contrary to popular belief, dangerous.

From National Institute for Drug Abuse:

    ';Inhaled chemicals are rapidly absorbed through the lungs into the bloodstream and quickly distributed to the brain and other organs. Within seconds of inhalation, the user experiences intoxication along with other effects similar to those produced by alcohol. Alcohol-like effects may include slurred speech, an inability to coordinate movements, euphoria, and dizziness. In addition, users may experience lightheadedness, hallucinations, and delusions.';

';Although the chemical substances found in inhalants may produce various pharmacological effects, most inhalants produce a rapid high that resembles alcohol intoxication with initial excitation, then drowsiness, disinhibition, lightheadedness, and agitation. If sufficient amounts are inhaled, nearly all solvents and gases produce anesthesia, a loss of sensation, and even unconsciousness.';Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?
People can get addicted in the true sense of the word to anything.

If it gets him off, it's a drug addiction.

Edit: I agree with you about it being disgusting.

Does he wear the nail polish too (JK)?

    Best clear nail polish?

I have used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, but the formula isn't that long-lasting on me. It starts to peel off easily the second day after I have applied it. I am looking for something of a nail hardener/ nail strengthener that does not easily peel. Any suggestions? Or simply, which is the best clear nail polish (not necessarily a 'strengthening formula') around?Best clear nail polish?
    ORLYBest clear nail polish?
The best combo I have found to both strengthen nails and keep the polish on as long as possible is a green transparent polish by Sticky brand that you get at Sally Beauty Supply. This is what all the Nail techs use in salons. On top of that any UV topcoat from Sally, is great. I use out the door brand, but the latest salon quality topcoats are all made up of the same ingredients. These aren't sold in drugstores.

I don't believe in nail strengtheners, I think they are a gimmick. But the one most people recommend is Nailtiques; it did nothing for my nails.

Hands down the fastest way to get good nails is prenatal vitamins.Ask any woman who has taken them.

Sally Hansens is why we still have nail salons around; it's a pretty poor brand nail techs rarely ever buy. Of course, nail techs aren't in the business of keeping your nails strong and beautiful; because then you wouldn't need them:-)
OPI Nail envy. It really helps strengthen nails and stays on well. It is a little more expensive and you have to by it in salons, but it's well worth it. :-)
My personal favorite is Perfect 10, it drys pretty fast, but dont forget the nail polish is best with two coats. First coat and second coat after the first has dried. Good luck hoped i helped
if youre on a budget use wet n' wild .

I have nail polish on my leather recliner and my blanket? help me remove it w/o damage?

Nail polish remover is likely to remove the finish on the leather and may not even remove the nail polish so this should be avoided as repairs will be more expensive. Please do not use hairspray as this may make the damage worse.

DIY remedies generally cause many more problems and make final restoration more costly and more difficult.

Nail polish is a form of paint and you have repainted the leather so anything you use will be likely to remove the colour/finish from the leather.

This job is best left to a qualified leather technician who will have the best products and methods for rectifying the problem. Look for an LTT trained technician who wil be qualified to do this type of work.

HELP! how do i get nail polish off of a white leather couch?

i wanna use nail polish remover, but will it affect the white leather? i keep reading that nail polish remover fades the color of leather, but can white leather fade?.. PLEASE HELP ASAPHELP! how do i get nail polish off of a white leather couch?
Nail polish remover is an acetone and will strip the finish off the leather. Acetones are used in the leather repair industry for stripping off pigments and finishes so should not be used to remove nail polish.

If the nail polish will not peel off (sometimes it will) then you need to call in a qualified leather technician who will be able to rectify the problem. The nail varnsih has recoated the leather and will need solvents to remove it which will then require a refinish process to repair the damage.

Colour removal can happen on whatever colour leather you have.HELP! how do i get nail polish off of a white leather couch?
I suggest trying a organic cleaner- mix in some baking powder, vinegar, detergent and a splash of nail polish remover.
yes, it should help, I have remived it in this way from my own skin. And, exactly, how do you think would white fade?!
mix tooth paste with vodka and put it on a rag and you can just dab it out no joke works on everything any stain!!
oh... um... i had a similar situation... sort of... but try (i'm not sure about the effect it will have on the leather but...) hairspray.
nerrr should be fine, just water it down a bit :)
    try goup

What to do if you infant eats fingr nail polish?

what to do if your child eats a litlle bit of finger nail polishWhat to do if you infant eats fingr nail polish?
did the infant eat a little bit of polish from your fingernail that was painted or from the jar of fingernail polish. If it was just off your nail and a small amount i would just call your doctor in the AM to be safe. If the baby got into a jar of nail polish I would call poison control. What to do if you infant eats fingr nail polish?
Always call Poison Control if you have even a bit of concern. DO NOT make the child throw up or worry about stomach pumping. In fact, there is not enough nail polish in a bottle to poison a child and the biggest concern is the alcohol content. This is straight from TX Poison Control.

    definatly call poison control
It depends a small amount (like a chipping off your nail) dont worry about it. Alot (he drank the bottle) call poison control. Its better not to call poison control unless you need to, they will more than likely pump your childs stomache which would be horrible to watch and painful for the infant. But, if you are really worried about it call and tell them exactly how much the child ate so they wont have to take such drastic measures. good luck.
I would call the doctor, how did your infant get nail polish?!
I would just call poison control just to be safe.
it depends a little is okay but if he eats too much call poision control but first givehim something to make him barf
I would call the poison hot line asap. They are able to tell you. Open 24/7
call poison control, but be careful to stay calm so you do not scare the child.

Now put again polish on you nail then so fast bring clinics then wipe them so fast ..you will notice that there is no polish on you nails ...

dude if it works tell me

    Have a nice day

    good luck
Now there is no option. So pray but try to get the remove as quick as you can and for the next time before putting nail polish, see that whehter you have its remover or not.
it OK,if you are not able to remove it,Allah, the merciful, will forgive you...but after you get the nail polish remover,i would suggest you make up those prayers though
Put the nail polish on one nail again and then immediately wipe it off with a napkin or cotton it should come out...
Ty any Cologne/Perfume, they remove nail polish !
Just don't wear nail polish anymore...I simply threw all of mine away.
What I do is pick it all off. It's fun, try it! And it works! :D
    chew it off!!!!

  • Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?

Well, I had a friend that loves to sniff nail polish which I think is so disgusting and smelly, but I saw him got addicted to it, is it something that makes you real high ? Like ... glue sniffing ? (:Is sniffing nail polish considered as glue-sniffing ?
Glue, paint, nail polish, all of these are covered under the catagory of ';inhalant abuse.'; It can give you a high, but is, contrary to popular belief, dangerous.

From National Institute for Drug Abuse:

    ';Inhaled chemicals are rapidly absorbed through the lungs into the bloodstream and quickly distributed to the brain and other organs. Within seconds of inhalation, the user experiences intoxication along with other effects similar to those produced by alcohol. Alcohol-like effects may include slurred speech, an inability to coordinate movements, euphoria, and dizziness. In addition, users may experience lightheadedness, hallucinations, and delusions.';

Does acetone(from nail polish remover) ';melt'; or dissolve fake nails?

I am going to buy nail polish remover with acetone, to take the dried up glue from my fake nails off so i can use them again..

but doesnt acetone melt or dissolve fake nails?

Because i once had fake nails on, and i painted over them with nail polish and they melted..

thanks!Does acetone(from nail polish remover) ';melt'; or dissolve fake nails?
somtimes it does.Does acetone(from nail polish remover) ';melt'; or dissolve fake nails?
    NO
it will ruin them...it will make them sticky and you will have to take them off and throw them away..plus they will look awful
it never works, i have sat around for hours with my nails dipped in acetone but it does not work. i just pry them off with a pocket knife and then go get them re done
Acetone is what you use to remove your fake nails. I did this a few weeks ago and from what i saw acetone really is more for getting off the glue and not for ';melting'; or dissolve fake nails. It bubbles the nails up pretty bad though so if you want to use the nails again DO NOT remove them with acetone. Go to the pros at a nail shop and have them take them off instead!
if you overexpose them yes. if you place one in a jar with acetone it will dissolve. Using it to remove nail polish is fine
    yes
I use it to take off my fake nail it does not melt of dissolve. I dip it in the acetone %26amp; then you just peel it off

It really depends on what colouring you have.

    -Blondes really suit blue (electric.)

-Brunnetes suit Black cherry or red.

-Black hair really suites black nail varnish (suprisingly!)

    -Red heads:

Strawberry Blonde- Fresh colours like yellow, lime green, flurescont pink.

    True Redhead-Silver (not gold!)

Sometimes it doen't really matter what colour hair you have just as long as the colour suits you.

You can wear a mix of colours on each hand (that mesh well together) For Example-Red,black,red, black and so on OR blue, green, blue green and so on!

ive spilled alot of super glue on my backpack and ive read thatt nail polish remover can take out the super glue. if i use it on my backpack will it stain it? ive got a regular black jansport backpackWill nail polish remover stain my backpack?
it will make it fade, but the super glue makes it fade too =/Will nail polish remover stain my backpack?
I don't think so. Try it out on a old rag and see if anything happens. Maybe even place some glue on the rag, and see if it comes out with the remover. I've probably spilled remover on me occasionally. nothing happened. But once i spilled a drop on my wooden table, and the finishing or whatever came off.
idk last i heard nail polish remover ruins everything
Yes it will ,but you got superglue on it anyway, it will fade it
Try it in an area where you can't see it like inside or on the bottom.

    Good luck.
try acetone or nail polish remover im sure it will come out and leave no stain.
no, but it might take some color off of it. like, make it look bleached kind of.

What is a good nail polish color? lol?

I love blues and i have redish brown hair thin and pretty cute ...any good colors for me?What is a good nail polish color? lol?
Red might clash a little with your hair, and especially wouldn't work if you have pale skin. Blues and greens are good as well as browns and golds. And, of course, french manicures look great on everybody. What is a good nail polish color? lol?
Nail polish is kinda tricky to pin to a certain type of frame or skin tone or hair color like you can with makeup. When i'm deciding on a nail polish color, I take into consideration where i'm going and what the weather is like. Also your age is a big factor. Blues and purples and other crazy colors are more for a younger generation. If your over the age of 20, I highly suggest wearing a more calm color. People will take you more seriously. Obviously, if your going to a funeral or a serious event you don't want to use a bold color. Try to stick with more neutral colors in winter, tans, light pinks, or maroons. In spring, try using pinks, yellows, and if u must use blue, lighter blue. My favorite is in the summer because I always wear hot pinks, bright orange, and lime green. And again in the fall stick to neutrals again.
You should stick with fall colors.

Maybe a deep red or a gold. You can try a french manicure for a cleaner look. If your feeling really bold you can try a bronze.

All these colors would look fantastic on you. =)
Well I don't know what you look like so it would be hard to give you a color. Try placing the color next to your skin and see if it goes well.
did you mean your hair is thin and pretty cute? or that you are?

if you meant that you are then you're pretty full of yourself.
I don't know if you would think this is boring, but, i love french tip manicures. They're a classic, and they go with everything. :)

No Nail Polish Remover, Any Suggestions!?

I need my nail polish coming off, and ive run out of nail polish remover, is there anything else I can use or do anything else?

    Please helpp =)

xxNo Nail Polish Remover, Any Suggestions!?
I know of two ways that sometimes work...paint more nail polish over your old polish and then wipe it off (don't ask me how it works, but sometimes it does).

Then there's the old standby of soaking your hands in warm water and then tediously chipping it off. Just be sure to rub lotion into your nails afterwards since this can be drying to your nails. No Nail Polish Remover, Any Suggestions!?
    vodka
    Hot water and Vinegar!!!!
Put some fresh nailpolish over it and then right away rub it off with a cotton pad. The fresh nail polish takes away the old one. Afterwards wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and a mild soap by using a soft brush/sponge. If that doesn't help then try to take it off with some alcohol (at least 80%), that might work also.
Try rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, lacquer thinner, turpentine, kerosene OR lighter fluid.

    OR

You can try and pick off the nail polish first, and then mix palmolive with water and scrub off remaining polish
    Rubbing alcohol.
Sheeesh I have had this problem so often :)

If you have any clear nail polish, you can put a coat over your existing nail colour...and use cotton wool to wipe it off...not the ideal...but it will lift the existing nail polish :)

    Hope this helps

    S.
if it's a little spot of colour and you're not too worried about the ';staining'; effect you can coat your nail with a fresh layer of polish and quickly tissue it off. The old polish should wipe off but it will leave stains around your nail bed. You could scratch them off but that takes time though it won't stain. Good luck!
just chip it off. it usually works. :)
    Acetone or paint thinner.
OMFG I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM SO THIS QUESTION COUNTS 4 ME 2! 8)
Put a new coat of nail polish over the top and then rub of stright away with a cotton pad. But do it one nail at a time so it doesn't dry.

Then wash your hands water that as hot as you can put up with, and then get nail brush and scrub (with your hands in the water) at all the little bits that might not have come off before
You can use cellulose paint thinners, from your local DIY or motor spairs shop
nail varnish works as remover too. Just put some over the top then wipe (obviously when it's still wet) and both should come off.
Go to the shop and buy some nail varnish remover
buy some more would be good,

bt if tht isnt possible, thn use some nail moisturiser rub in thn file nail in opposite direction of grain until cums of, keep topping up with moisturiser otherwise nails become brittle and can brake

It depends on whether you have you own real nails or acrylic/gel wraps. If they are youw own use Acetone nail polish remover put some in a old bowl and soak them!

If acrylic or fake nails soak them in NON-Acetone polish remover..

If all else fails.... Use a medium course nail file and FILE it off.

Good Luck! How can I get rid of this nail polish?? Read (please)?
you can try a few ways.

    1. like others have said, soak your nails in an acitoned based remover. it might dry your hands out a bit, but it works.

    2. lightly buff it off with a file.

    3. go to a beauty salon and have them remove it (usually about 10 bucks, and they buff out your nails, push the cuticals back and use a nice lotion to make your hands soft again)
In my life all I do to get thick polish is i soak my nail in nail polish remover and let it sit then wipe it off with a cotton ball with some remover.. hope this helps.... %26lt;33

noDo plain old barcodes like on some nail polish set off an alarm?
Not usually...the ones that set off alarms have magnetic fields in them. They have metal under the paper. What will set off an alarm are certain pass key cards.
no my friend picked up chap stick with a barcode on it and forgot to pay for it she went back in after but no alarm ever went off
I saw a program on tv showing that some barcodes make the alarms go off... but I'm not sure.

Probably not at the dollar store though

I'm 14 years old, do you think I'm too young for red nail polish?

    i agree with the rest.

however from experience, it depends on several factors:

    1) the shade of red

    2) whether it has glitter or just shiny

    3) toes or hands

usually BRIGHT red in pinkish hues look more vibrant and youthful and orange tones make more of a statement.

If you're looking for a DEEP or dark red colour (you know, bordering on black or one of those satin like colours) it's safer to pick a ruby or brick red colour. Those with pink undertones look too old (not in a good way).

Now about glitter, GLITTER is good! glitter makes it more playful and less solemn. You can even try DIY. paint on your usual red (non-glitter) nail polish, sprinkle craft glitter, let dry and apply top coat. voila!I'm 14 years old, do you think I'm too young for red nail polish?

No, as long as you apply it to finger nails and toe nails.

You would look kind-a silly putting it on your nose.
well no though make sure its not too bright...its just is really strong and feminine...
    pshh.

it doesnt matter what age nor what your wearing it with.

    get over yourselves people.

youre not ******* stylists to the stars!!
not at all why would you be told old to were any color nail polish
Actually, at 14, I would think you'd be into multi colored nails. Just plain red, while some might consider that ';flashy';, if they grew up in the 40's, is actually very modest.
first of all their is no age for wearing red color nail polish. I wear red, pink, purple, and sky blue. I don't think that your too young. So go for red I am sure you will like it!!!!!!!!!!!
definatly not, there is no required age for any colour nail polish im 16 and I've been wearing it for about 5 years.
Yeah, I don't see why not. I mean if you think it looks trampy or something it doesn't. Its perfect for the summer.
It Depends On The Shade And The Outfit You're Wearing It With; Not The Age.

    Go For It!

Theres not a specific age to wear a color of nail polish. Its just a color like ever other one. Go for it! :)
NO, i started wearing red nail polish since i was born
Red is a color. Since when is there an age limit for colors? Go for it.
    No
I think it's alright if you're wearing something red as well and you are matching, but otherwise even I (who is 19) don't wear red nail polish, because it does look very adult and puts out a certain image.
not at all, i wear red polish with square short nails, so it doesn't look too dramatic. unlike with really long nails..
naaah..... dear there is never an age limitation for any color to b worn by any1. u r a teenager and any color will suit u this the age u can hve all colorful things u want in ur life.

newayz red is a real hot color to b applied on ur nails what i ve discovered so far!!!
I think it just depends on what your nail beds look like hun.

Any advice on a nail polish that doesn't chip?

These nail polishes are the best.

Rimmel Lycra Wear nail polish is awesome since the enamel has lycra in it (which is the stretchy stuff in your swimsuit), so it's flexible and it bends instead of chipping. It's about 3 dollars.

Sally Hansen No Chip 10 Day Nail Color is also awesome. They say it has calcium and microminerals that help strenghten your nails and prevent fading.

    ---

Other nail polishes might chip or have those air bubbles because you didn't cap it on tightly. Make sure you do that so you can keep the enamel in top condition.

You should also put 2-3 layers and a top coat to prevent fading. Also, put on a base coat so your nails will be healthy and won't turn yellow due to the nail polish.

KellyAny advice on a nail polish that doesn't chip?
sally hansen diamond strength nail polish is made to be stronger than usual polishes and therefore not chip. for any nail polish, putting a clear top coat over it will prevent chipping and make it appear shiny.Any advice on a nail polish that doesn't chip?
In my perspective the thin and cheap nail polishes chip the most. I think to get a nailpolish that doesn't chip you should pick out a nice well known brand (doesn't really matter) but paint a clear/ seethrough layer over them! Works for me. good luck.
I think all nail polish eventually chips. I think you get better results when you do a couple of coats plus a clear protective coat on top.
I like revlon. If you get the Double Twist base/top coat it lasts for days.

Does nail polish have a shelf life?

kinda. it depends if you opened it already and how often you used it. after you get too much air in it. the nail polish will start drying or get really sticky. but this shouldnt really happen if you have really good quality ones or ones with the little metal beads cause it helps mix it well. =]Does nail polish have a shelf life?
i give nail polish about a year or so, then it starts to get gross.

high-quality brands like OPI last longer, and will stay in better condition for almost double the time, if you take care of it (don't gunk up the lid, don't leave the lid off for too long).Does nail polish have a shelf life?
you can you tell when its all chunky and old.

The only way my nail polish dosent chip is if I use a base coat. As a base coat I use OPI Nail Envy. I don't understand why people follow fashion. But thats why they paint their nails black. I personally like black nails because they make you look paler and pale is awesome!

    it usually stands for rebelliousness.

    Most people put on black nail polish to look ';goth'; and ';emo'; because it's currently ';in fashion.';
It's just the in thing right now. I bought a polish that is not quite black, but a real dark , and i really like it on. Try it!
it's the new ';in';. people like to wear it because everyone famous is wearing it now-a-days. if you don't like the dark nail polish try come bright colors from your favorite brand of nail polish!

    And BTW, it's 'celebrities.'

I think its just because black matches every thing and it actually looks good.

I wondered that myself.. my cousin had it on her toenails and it struck me as cute so I think I might do my toes in it... not sure about my fingers.

Does chlorine take of nail polish?

okay well im going to hershey park tomorrow and i got my nails done like two days ago and i want to know if its gonna come off. i paid A lot of money and i don't want it to come off!!!Does chlorine take of nail polish?
I can promise you it most likely will unless it's super nail polish. I'm on a swim team and if you go in with painted nails you'll come out with chipped peeled off nail polish. I don't know what hershey park is, but it won't come out perfect. If you want try to put an extra coat of clear nail polish.

Hope it doesn't come off!!Does chlorine take of nail polish?
Chlorinated water doesn't dissolve nail polish, but the water does soften your nails making it easier to chip off. And your nails are likely to get chipped just because of all the activities that you will be doing with your hands during the day.
    yup pretty much.

How can I get rid of this nail polish?? Read (please)?

Well, I am using 4 big drops of remover on one measley cotton bal and I like scrud sooooooo hard to get it off. Doesn't work. Its thick polish. Is there some kind of remedy?? Juice, salt, etc.?????

THANKS!! Much appreciated!!How can I get rid of this nail polish?? Read (please)?

%26lt;33

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I hate it when people say other people are to young! WHAT IS AGE?!?!?!?!

I'm 14 years old, do you think I'm too young for red nail polish?
red is a classic that works for everyone, go for it and wear it with style

    Go For It!

    [=
O_o...... since wen was there a limit for nail polish???

im assumin you mean for skool right? teachers probably wont let u but that doesnt mean to say you cant wear it! ha im the same age and i do it all the tym ;)
    No Way!

I Can see where ur comming from, though- it can b a ';BIG'; color but i dont think there's an age limit!

I Wore red when i was 6 and soooo yea

Now the only color i wear is black and im 12! ;)

And i've had ppl say ';Oooo ur to young for black'; Its like clothes- any color will do ;)

Nw if it was eyeshadow it would b a different story

On toes is cute and if there's a limit at school- u can Do it on ur toes ;)

And scence spring is here- blues, pinks, greens, and RED are really kewel!

    I hoped i helped in a way!
    wtf? no
Go for it, but only if you can team it up with the right clothes and accessories, or it can look tacky!
Red is eeeewwww.....You will look like an evil monster if you wear red...you will also look older that your age...try pink...light pink......
    No wayy.!

    Go for it Kiddo!

    :)

Just check with your school if your aloud because at some schools, you may get into trouble!!

    xo
all the color is is one of the primary colors and i used them when i was 6 sooo i say go 4 it!!!!!
Sorry, you gotta wait two years until you are 16.

    Stupid question.
if you have to ask that, then yes.
NO !!!!! your not .But make sure the red is not to bright.
    Nope. Go for it! :)
its nail polish!! wear whatever you feel like you could paint each one a different colour if you wanted to!! :)

i know what you mean about people thinking red is tarty or for older women but dont listen, red is a colour!! they're all mad!

Some also do it for the style.
IT is so ugly times infinity. Who wants to wear something that monsters would like!!! THe celebrity's get payed for advertising in public. And of course they are greedy so they accept. can you beilive that!!!
It's a fad that comes and goes. People were doing it in the 70s, too.

    And BTW, it's 'celebrities.'
It is whats in now, i highly doubt people are using sharpie on there nails though, if its done right black nail polish can really look nice.
I think its just because black matches every thing and it actually looks good.
you know every summer these people come up with their new trends......I seen that and chinese bangs.......everybody or almost everybody is wearing them....hell, I think I might get me some bangs.....(jus kiddn)
i'm totally not someone who would wear it.. but i do sometimes.. i just like it..

    no specific reason..

doesn't mean anything.. my parents ask me too lol

i'm 18 i'll paint them whatever color i want haha
    a lot of people in hollywood are doing b/c they think its cool and other people copy celeberties but its just a phases it will be over just the the perm was ';cool';
Celebrities wear it because it looks classy!
    Celebrities :)
    It means ';Im following the trend by painting my nails black';
I wondered that myself.. my cousin had it on her toenails and it struck me as cute so I think I might do my toes in it... not sure about my fingers.
They like black. An old friend always used to do that when she was bored at school. :P

And your nails are likely to get chipped just because of all the activities that you will be doing with your hands during the day.
    yup pretty much.

    http://www.halfbakery.com/idea/Flavored_鈥?/a>

that will answer your question and no there toxic brand so that you will stop biting your nailsIs there a such thing as flavered nail polish?
No cause there is a chemical in nailpolish to make the color appear and if you take that out you could eat it but not wear it and i do not think it would taste very goodIs there a such thing as flavered nail polish?
    ammm ..

    i hope not,,

i think i seen a line of fragranced polish in boots..

but i really dont think ive came across any flavored brands :S!

no because its not for eating. there is smelly nail polish but it doesn't really work.
    Scented yes / Flavered No
Ye there is. It tastes really bad and stops people from biting their nails. (:
Technically it all has a flavor. It just doesn't taste good.
Does toxic count as a flavour?

    If so, yes.
    what?

Which nail polish is cool blue or pink ?

OF COURSE PINKWhich nail polish is cool blue or pink ?
Both are cool colours!! Just try them both and see how they fit!! first use one colour then if you see that you're not in the mood for that colour you've pick then just grab the nail polish remover and polish them the other colour. BUT i'd go PINK I HAVE A BLUE NAIL POLISH AND NEVER USE IT CAUSE I THINK ITS A BIT TOO MUCH :)Which nail polish is cool blue or pink ?
It depends on what color shirt you're wearing. If you're wearing a pink shirt, try blue nail polish. But mainly baby pink and blue.
Well... I personally prefer the color blue, but when it comes to nail polish and fashion pink always seems to be the best.
    blue AND pink ;)

dark blue is better for lighter skin tones and light blue is better with darker skin
    depends on your skin really....

and on the whole message you want to give. i personally prefer pink but that's just me.
pink or both put pink on some fingers and blue on some

    Pink.
    it depends on you...

Good Nail polish ideas? 10pts best answer?

My nails are boring and stupid how do I make them look cuter?

Thanks in advance! :DGood Nail polish ideas? 10pts best answer?
    For the finger nails:

Get a french manicure. Where they are white tips at the top. They match EVERYTHING. If you just want them to look pretty you can never go wrong with a solid color with maybe a flower on your ring finger.

    For the toe nails:

Go with a solid pink or red shade. Make it one solid color. Pink and red make you look more classy and accentuate any skin tone beautifully. If you think it's too boring try making a small pink or blue flower on the big toe of both feet.
