Neither. Black nail polish definitely isn't an original idea. It depends on what you're wearing. I wear a lot of Express clothing, which is classy, business casual, so I do black nails quite a bit but I do it for a classy look. If you wear more ';goth'; or ';emo'; stuff than you'll look goth or emo.
I think it can go both ways. it can really look overly goth if you wear all black or chains or stuff like that. but it can look flirty and cool and fun with pink polos (my favorite) and bright colors. for a really bold statement try fluorescent colors and bold makeup. black nail polish can look cool or emo, it really epends on the look you are going for.

I think it depends on what you're wearing. If you're dressed Gothic, then black nail polish is probably meant to look that way, but some people (including myself) just like the way it looks.
Totally cool!!! i guess im sorta a prep girl but i love to wear blakc nail polish. i think it looks really good and makes u look more sophisticated and grown up
it doesnt matter. you shouldnt ever be sterotyped by what color your nail polish is. i think it looks awesomee
